When productions began to shut down due to COVID in 2020, concerns arose on how the industry would recover. One year later, long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy continues to thrive even amidst this pandemic but that’s not without its challenges.
I had the pleasure of interviewing the show’s cinematographer, Alicia Robbins, and discussed how the show was able to make a comeback. Alicia was an absolute delight and provided a fantastic insight as she recalled the difficulties encountered on-set, why it was so important to incorporate realism to this season, and the use of green screen for a fan-favorite return.
